The Lion offer unique setting as a venue for your event. Completely refurbished and renovated in 2020 the pub originally dates back to the 16th Century and is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas, deep in the South Cheshire countryside.
Our event space, The Brereton Suite is a unique and beautiful room, sitting alongside 16 boutique bedrooms and our traditional Country Inn. There are also 30 complimentary parking spaces for your guests, including an electric charging point.
The Brereton Suite, seating up to 50 guests for a sit-down meal, offers not only high beamed ceilings with stunning natural light but also its own private bar, entrance and outdoor space.
We are able to build a bespoke package tailormade to your requirements, with a wide range of food choices, and wine from award winning supplier Define Wines. So, whether it’s a Birthday celebration, Christening, Anniversary or any other occasion we are sure that we can create a package to give you the perfect event.
